Appearance: Jacob is a rather average young man height wise, he stands 5'10" tall. He ways around 200 lbs because he is fairly well built muscularly. He's able to take a hit and keep coming back for more. Physically he would be able to keep up with a Machoke without the aid of a Pokemon. His skin is a soft white color with a hint of tan to it. Jacob's hair is a chestnut or rather a dark brown, its up in a spiked style the protrudes from under his cap. A small goatee grows under the young man's chin, its the same color as his head of hair. Jacob has a strong face with a wide chin that makes him a fearsome opponent to go up against.

A dark blue pair of jeans are loosely fitted on his lower half, they stay on thanks to a black leather belt. Jacob wears a dark blue and orange pair of running shoes, these allow him to travel quickly from town to town while on foot. He wears a orange and blue jacket over top of a dark blue cotton shirt. Most of the time he keeps his jacket unzipped allowing his shirt to be seen. To finish off his outfit he wears an orange and blue cap with the Pokemon league symbol emblazoned on the front of it.


History: Jacob was pretty excited the day he was supposed to get his first Pokemon. He was a fairly calm boy that liked to play video games all the time. So a chance to get a new friend was great. Making his way to Pallet Town he was met by Professor Oak, and his snotty ass of a grandson. There were a few other trainers there that day also, ready to get their Pokemon and start a new adventure. Drawing numbers from a hat, Jacob was the second to pick his Pokemon. Jake, somehow got the first pick, he took the Eevee off the pedestal. Jacob walked up to the stand and picked up the pokeball with Charmander in it without hesitation. The next trainer took the Bulbasaur, there was supposed to be someone else, however he hadn't shown up. There were two pokeballs left. After the event, Jacob and the trainer were shown out and returned to their waiting families.
Jacob walked over to his mother, and watched as the boy was hugged by his father and mother. He really hadn't ever known his father, didn't want to either honestly. The jackass left before he was even born. Hugging his mother, Jacob smiled at her meekly, however their moment was interrupted by the boy; he wanted a battle. Releasing his Charmander he easily beat the opponents lone Bulbasaur. With a cocky grin, Jacob walked around proudly as the boy and his parent left the town. After his mother healed his Charmander, Jacob caught the snotty grandson as he left the lab.
Demanding a battle, Jacob and the grandson released their pokemon. For a rookie battle the two battled with a great intensity. After his previous battle, Jacob was able to use his Charmander's ember attack to defeat the boy's Eevee. As Jacob lifted his pokeball to call back his pokemon the grandson yelled out. "The battle's not over yet!" He said it just as he pulled out a second pokeball, releasing a powered up Squirtle. With a barrage of spammed bubble attacks the Squirtle devastated the poor little Charmander. Adding insult to injury, the grandson added an extra tackle attack to a battle he had clearly long since won.
Ever since that day, Jacob has had little interest in pokemon battles. Playing video games day in and day out, he became a region champ. The only one that could ever rival his gaming skills was his very own Charmander, but since he was a pokemon he wasn't allowed to enter the tournaments. Jacob developed his fire over the years as every time his Charmander lost a game to him, the little dragon used ember on his trainer. The other trainers he had been with on the day of the selection had apparently done great things. The one with the Pikachu that came in late even used Jacob's town's prized flute to raise and capture and Snorelax. The snotty grandson did the same soon after taking care of the two normal type pokemon that were blocking various roads.
Around the same time, Jacob was in the Pokemon Tower; it was scheduled for demolition soon and he wanted to pray for the boy and the Bulbasaur he had met before. Tragically they were killed in the Dark Cave by an enraged Kangaskhan after its baby had been stolen by Team Rocket. So enraged by the fact they were tearing down a grave yard for a radio town, Jacob's emotional state attracted large amounts of the ghost type pokemon that fed off the energy. Releasing it from its pokeball Charmander tried to keep the pokemon at bay with ember attacks, however the higher leveled ghosts paid little attention to the small dragon. Even as he was attacked by the pokemon, Jacob refused to budge until he was finished praying. Despite taking heavy damage heavy damage the Charmander refused to give up, it fed off its trainers fiery will, thus enabling it to use its blaze ability. Even the lower leveled Charmander's weak little ember attack was able to deal heavy damage on the much stronger Hunters. So taken in by the duo and their floor of emotions, was one of the weaker Gastly's, joined the fight. He was on the side of Charmander and Jacob. Once he was finished praying he placed both of the pokemon into the safety of a pokeball. Resisting the ghost's attacks and attempts at hypnosis, he walked out of the building and went home with both of his precious pokemon.
Years later, Jacob and his two pokemon enjoy themselves while playing video games. Jacob became somewhat of a prankster, using his Gastly to scare the shit out of people whenever possible; especially his mother. One day he picked a particularly strong looking trainer, a man passing through town. He stopped at the pokemon center for a bite to eat and the rest up his pokemon. As he set up the ambush, Jacob overheard the man talking to the nurse. The dragon tamer had brought in a wild Dratini; it had been just about killed by a group of its own kind. Its skin was pink instead of the usual blue, so it was singled out and attacked. Fortunately the man had been there to save it. He was talking about taking it to a female trainer in Johto, but was hesitant because she already possessed a few of the same pokemon as is. This was the same reason he had for not keeping it himself.
Jacob was angered by the story to the point his Gastly released its self from its pokeball and ruined the ambush. The man approached Jacob with a smile, he knew an ambush when he seen one. "So kid, you're going to ambush me? Heh, that takes some balls." The man said rather cockily. Jacob's blank look made the man almost sputter as he asked a question. "You seriously don't know who I am?" he said and silence fell on the center. The people all around and even the Nurse Joy began laughing. Clenching his fist so tightly that his knuckles were white, he pointed at the Dragon Tamer. "I challenge you to a battle!" Jacob yelled. Once again silence was followed by laughter through the Pokemon Center. Holding up his hand the man didn't find an official challenge so funny, no matter the caliber of the trainer.
"Kid, can I see your pokemon before we battle?" He asked. "Uh sure." said Jacob releasing his Charmander next to Gastly. "Hmm I see I'll only use one pokemon then." said the Dragon Tamer. "Fine, whatever. Go Gastly!" Jacob said kind of insulted. Pulling out a pokeball, the other tamer released a large looking Charmeleon. As soon as he had, Jacob was on the attack. Jacob knew very well he couldn't be the foe's pokemon in a slug it out brawl. "Gastly use hypnosis!" Before the dragon tamer could even get off a command the sleeping spell had taken effect. "Now use lick as many times as possible!" Lick after lick the Gastly began to chisel away at the mountain that was the higher level pokemon's health points. Before a significant damage could be done the Charmeleon awoke. "Flamethrower” A powerful torrent of flame erupted from the dragon's mouth instantly taking out Gastly. Before he could even call him out, Charmander had jumped into the battle. "A fiery one you've got there." said the dragon trainer. "Heh, I'll show you. Charmander burn them to ash with ember!" Charmander opened its mouth releasing a few small burps of flame that hit the Charmeleon's chest, it did no visible damage.
Jacob didn't really think that move would do much, but he wasn't about to back down to another fire type. "So it’s a battle of fire power? That's what you want? Well then, fine, but it'll only drag out your pokemon's suffering. Flamethrower!" said the foe trainer with a rather cold tone. Once again flame shot from Charmeleon and engulfed Jacob's pokemon. With a smug grin, the tamer raised his pokeball to reclaim his pokemon, however before he could Jacob spoke from gritted teeth. "The battles not over yet!" With its body badly burnt, Charmander's tail was burning brighter than ever before; his blaze ability has once again been activated. The foe's eyes widened as he spoke. "I hadn't expected for someone like you to have been able to pull this out. Then again against a great opponent anyone can do something great once." Jacob could only laugh at his foe's cockiness. "Nope this is the second time I've seen him like this." Jacob told his foe who seemed to only be more surprised by the news. "How many battles had you been in, kid?" asked the tamer, his mind was off the battle. "Uh four times, including this. Now Charmander use ember!" A powerful version of the ember attack shot from the little dragon's mouth. This time it clearly irritated the skin on the enemy Charmeleon's chest, but still no significant damage.
"DAMNIT!" Jacob yelled. The powerful dragon tamer could only smile at his young foe and his pokemon. "Now Charmeleon use dragonrage at full power!" In the second it took to charge the attack, Jacob's eyes had widened and a flashback of his second battle with the jackass grandson replayed in his mind. In the fractions of a second it took the foe to open its mouth and fire the powerful beam of draconic energy, Jacob had moved and thrown himself in front of his pokemon. The blast had enough power to take out Jacob and his Charmander.
A few days later Jacob woke up in a bed inside the Pokemon Center, his mother was by his side. Reaching for his pokeballs the first thing he was terrified to find them missing. "Where are they?!? Where the hell are my pokemon!?!?" Jacob screamed in a panic as he leaped out of the bed. He crashed to the floor an instant later, his legs had become foreign and strange to him in the time he had spent in dreamland. Jacob's mother knelt down trying to help him up, however he trashed violently refusing it get up until he found his pokemon. He even began to crawl to the door after having fought his mother off. Just as he was about to the door, the Nurse Joy walked in after hearing all the commotion. "Oh my." she retorted seeing Jacob crawling to the door. "Where are they, where are my pokemon?" Jacob asked frantically. "Oh they're right here." said the nurse lowering a metal pokeball holder to Jacob's level as she knelt down next to him. "Oh, thank god." Jacob said with a sigh of relief as a Clefairy used psychic to levitate him back into the bed.
Seeing that there were three pokeballs, Jacob looked a bit confused. "I only have two pokemon. Why is there three, is there some mistake?" Jacob asked. "Oh, no. That trainer you fought with said to give this to you." said Joy as she walked out. Releasing the pokemon from the ball, there it was, a pink Dratini.
Years passed and Dratini seemed to fit into the group just fine. All of his pokemon seemed to have a knack for using attack on Jacob to show their affection. Gastly had seen a dog show love by licking a boy so it from that day began to lick Jacob whenever it got overly happy. Charmander still used ember whenever it lost in a battle. Finally Dratini used wrap after witnessing Jacob's mother hugging him. For that day on Dratini always used its wrap attacks whenever it was released from its pokeball. Eventually Jacob grown tired of video games and set out, he was headed to the Aerieal Region.


Personality: Jacob is a loyal person who loves his friends, family, and Pokemon. He would literally die for someone he was close with. However he isn't afraid to stand up for himself, even if that's against a friend. He wont allow anyone to walk over them even if they're close to him. Sometimes his temper gets the best of him and he becomes like his favorite element; fire. He can become strong willed and relentless like a blazing wildfire out of control. This allows him to relate with his Charmander who he's had since he was a young boy. Jacob loves his Pokemon and will do just about anything for them. He also likes a good battle, and loves some chocolate milk made with the milk from his mothers Milktank. Jacob dislikes Pokemon poachers and people that hurt Pokemon for selfish reasons. Even with this he's to much of a free spirit to join any organization such as the Pokemon Rangers. Jacob has an amazing ability when it comes to critical thinking, and has the ability to think strategically and calmly even when in a bad situation.
