Rules on Battling

The Rules on Battling are here to make the RP fair and fun for everyone. Not Aiding to them is not an option.

Hits:

You can never call a hit on the post of the hit. You must give your opponent a chance to dodge. If the opponent ignores your attack or refuses to dodge the hit. The hit will do a direct impact and will cause damage. There are no auto-dodging unless the attack is extremely straight forward and obvious. If its an attack from underground, in the Sky, or moving at Extreme speeds, its not going to be very likely to evade it. Now if one Pokemon is naturally faster then the other or one is much stronger (level wise) it is possible to dodge or jump out the way and counter. But a level 12 Sneasel isn't going to out speed a level 24 Syther using X-Sissors. So be realistic when battling. Use common since.

Attacking:

You can only do attacks your Pokemon can Learn, Be Breeded With, or can learn from TM. You can't instantly have TM moves or Breeded move. (Unless your story has a very good reason how the Pokemon was Breed. No Breeded Moves. You must also find your TM's through Roleplay or by winning a contest that Mod or Admin may host. So no, Eevee can't have Shadow Ball for no dang reason.

Accuracy:

Attacks that have very low Accuracy are the same here. If it has 50 Accuracy in the game. The attacks not likely to hit in an RP. If its a never miss move. Then it won't miss in the RP. Plain and simple.

Evasiveness and Blocking

Yes its possible to dodge attacks. Under the right conditions. A level 21 Scissor isn't going to out speed a level 64 Arcannine. Its not possible, there for, level gaps do play a role in battle. Now if there both the same level or around the same level. Its a game of who's naturally faster.

Blocking is also allowed. But as I said, how ever your stats are in the game is how they are here. A Water Gun from a Squirtle is going to dish out Heavy damage on a Geodude. So be wise on when you block. Anyone can block, its choosing the right time when too is what matters.

Effects and Abilities:

All type moves may have some type of effect. But not every time will the status effect take its course. That would just be unfair. Abilities are always in play regardless. So think wisely.

Here are the chance list percentage of moves:

Being Posioned: 60% chance
Being Burned: 50% chance
Being Confused: 40% chance
Being Paraylzed: (Depending on the move) 80 -100% chance
Being Put to Sleep: (Depending on the move) 60 - 100% chance

Fainting:

Fainting. The final shape of a fallen Pokemon. Once your Pokemon faints it can no longer battle. Once a Trainer is all out of Pokemon, he loses the Pokemon Battle. Your Pokemon based on how much damage they've taken. No Mod or Admin will tell you when its time to faint unless you get ridiculously with your Pokemon. A Oddish taking 4 Fire Blast dead on isn't going to be "Hanging on by the Skin of its teeth". Its going to faint. If you try to hold out on things like that your Pokemon will automatically faint.
